Use any video source
The Roland V-1HD+ is built for flexibility. Each of the four HDMI inputs has frame rate conversion that handles various sources like camcorders, tablets, gaming consoles, and computers. So long as it has an HDMI output, you can use it with the Roland V-1HD+. If you’re faced with a cantankerous source, just plug it into the scaling port and watch as the mixer automatically syncs and calibrates it to match your feed.
Fully-featured 14-channel audio mixer
To complement its array of analog and digital audio I/O, the V-1HD+ is equipped with a 14-channel audio mixer. That’s right — you don’t need to have an outboard audio mixer on deck when production starts. Each channel features a 3-band EQ, highpass filter, compression, and a noise gate. Each XLR and 1/8-inch input features a de-esser for broadcast-ready audio each time. It also has a sync delay control to align the audio with the video.
Display and monitoring
To keep your show running smoothly, the V-1HD+ has a 10-window multiviewer display, courtesy of one of the HDMI outputs. With this window, you can cue up your next shot, keep an eye on your output, and monitor the status of your camcorders. Here at Sweetwater, we know how important it is to have showstopping audio to go along with your visual performance. The V-1HD+ makes it simple to monitor your audio, thanks to the integrated headphone output and independent volume control. Each analog input is equipped with an indicator to help you keep your eyes on peaks. And if you’re using the multiviewer display, the V-1HD+ will automatically display signal level meters for all inputs and the main out.
Keep the audience engaged
Keeping your audience’s attention is paramount for a successful show. The V-1HD+ features a 4-layer effects engine that’s capable of stunning graphical displays. You can add logos, and on-screen graphics for live presentations. The picture-in-picture (PinP) ability is handy for displaying a speaker and presentation simultaneously. Livestreamed worship services and conferences are no problem for the V-1HD+. Plus, it can store up to eight still images onboard and recall them between shots or in the event of equipment failure or other malfunction.
